Cameras & A Healthy Chocolate Shake

For a while now I have been thinking about getting a DSLR. Well, recently amazon has reduced some of the prices on their cameras so I started to do some research on what camera would be good for me since this would be my first dslr camera and to see what was in my range (my price range and my skill range). The  Canon eos Rebel T2i is the main camera I have been looking at and I already have 1/2 of the money!Flickr has it ranked #2 out of 206 of its Canon camera. I love my Nikon coolpix l120 and it takes great pictures, but with a dslr I can go further with my photography. I talked to my dad to ask him if he thought if it would be a good idea, or if I should just save my money (which I kept debating between the 2) and to my surprise he said that it would be a good idea. I was shocked to say the least. I've been looking all over the internet to find out more about this camera and where I should purchase it. I also have looked at the Canon Rebel T3 & Canon Rebel T1i.

After a few days of contemplating about my future with a dslr; I decided that I wanted to find some new blogs and try out their recipes.  I found this recipe on Alysa's blog Inspired RD. I was actually trying to find a recipe that was like Wendy's Frosty and I ended up finding this recipe. It isn't like Wendy's frosty, but it is great. Its a healthy and slightly-sweet treat. This recipe could serve 2 people or if are like me it could just be for 1. I had some and then saved the rest for later in the day.  You can change out which type of milk you use, and the type of chocolate flavoring you want to use. Chocolate syrup would be good in this if you want a sweeter shake compared to mine since I used unsweetened cocoa powder.

Healthy Chocolate Shake
serves: 2 glasses
Adapted from: Inspired RD

1 cup milk (I used soy)
1 very ripe banana
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp nut butter (I used almond butter)
1 tsp honey
1- 1 1/2 cups ice

Add all of the ingredients into a blender in the order they are listed. Blend until smooth.

Note: Depending on how thick you prefer your shakes you cold just use 1 cup of ice or if you want a thicker blend then use 1 1/2 cups.
