studying & pictures (no recipes)

Ever since this post, I have been studying for my college accuplacer test which covers English,  a math test which branches off to either an arithmetic or college level, depending on your scores, an essay, and a test over my computer skills. I'm not worried about the English portion of the test, but my biggest concern is the math portion. I took some high school level math classes in middle school, took regular level classes in high school, but then I only took one math class during my last two years of school {home schooled} because I would graduate with extra credits in math. The last math class I took was easy because it was teaching you how to deal with math in the real world like balancing your checkbook, taxes, stock..ect, which I wish they taught in high school because honestly I'm not going to be an engineer or architect so when am I going to be using half of this stuff.?! I understand the need for the basics and all, but some of the other topics just give me a migraine by looking at the equations....

I have a lot of posts that are ready to be published, but with everything going on they will have to wait so I will just share some photos of upcoming recipes. Also I sold my first item on etsy :) although it may be a while before I have more projects finished to sell because the days just aren't long enough to get everything I want done.

Also this past weekend we had our first Harvest Festival at church and I was assigned as the photographer. We thought to paint some of the youth member's faces to encourage the little kids to get theirs painted too which worked great. The weather was perfect {a bit chilly but the sun warmed us up} and we had a good turn out for our first year.
